Port Isaac & Padstow (All tours) Head to the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac, known in the popular TV drama, Doc Martin, as the community of Portwenn. Keen fans may want to head to Fern Cottage to get a shot of ‘Doctor Ellingham’s surgery’. NB there is quite a steep walk into the village. Continue to the picturesque seaside town of Padstow, nestled on the beautiful Camel Estuary and made famous by Rick Stein
St Ives (All tours) St Ives is a dazzling jewel in Cornwall’s crown – a picturesque fishing harbour and seaside town, a haven for artists and holidaymakers – gorgeous sandy beaches, cobbled streets and an array of wonderfully enticing boutique and independent shops
Lost Gardens of Heligan & Megavissey (June & Sept only) A genuine secret garden lost for decades and now incredibly restored, bursting with blooms, romance & intrigue. An introductory talk tells its fascinating story. Time to explore lovely Megavissey with its distinctive twin harbour Isles of Scilly for the Day (Aug only) Just 28 miles west off the mainland, the Isles of Scilly feel like a different world – azure
