Calling all animal lovers!

Cannon Hall Farm is the award-winning, family run farm attraction as seen on Channel 5 TV shows This Week on the Farm and Springtime on the Farm, featuring family farmers Rob and Dave Nicholson. Sitting in the beautiful rolling Pennine foothills, it is home to hundreds of animals and features one of the biggest and best adventure playgrounds in the north of England. With so much to see and do at Cannon Hall, come and join us on the fun-filled weekend - the perfect family outing! Also included is a day in Leeds with a visit to the excellent Royal Armouries Museum, one of the favourite things to do in the city with the kids! With WiFi on the coach and a goody bag for each of our special young guests, the journey itself will be part of the big adventure!

This 3* Holiday Inn comes with countryside views, just a 15-minute drive from the centre of Leeds.

Its bright, modern rooms offer satellite TV and free WiFi is available on site. All rooms at Holiday Inn Brighouse feature scenic views, tea/coffee making facilities and private bathrooms.

With a hot tub, steam room and sauna, the You Fit Health Club also includes a gym and indoor pool (open 07.00 - 20.00 at weekends) NB Bookings may be required for the pool and children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.

The bar lounge features beautiful views of Yorkshire's countryside. Lift to all floors. Family rooms available (may include sofa bed)

Itinerary

Day 1 - After joining your holiday coach, heading northwards with suitable stops for lunch and refreshments. Arrive at your hotel late afternoon for 3 nights with breakfast & dinner

Days 2 - 3 At leisure In Yorkshire with two included excursions

Included Excursions:

Cannon Hall Farm
Head off for a day on the farm with included admission and access to the barns, reptile house, mammal house, regular animal talks and tractor trailer rides, plus the indoor soft play and outdoor play areas for younger tarvellers. There are daily ferret races and sheep racing and a full daily schedule of activities. There is a restaurant, farm shop and gift shop and a sumptious takeaway afternoon tea is included today to eat in one of the picnic areas. This includes delicious sandwiches, farm shop favourite savouries (such as pork pie, quiche) and home-made cakes! A special kids version includes fresh fruit, a fruit drink and a rice crispy bar. Head back to the hotel for dinner and a good night's sleep after an exciting day on the farm

Leeds and the Royal Armouries Museum 
Bring the schoolbooks to life with a visit to the outstanding Royal Armouries Museum, home of the UK's national collection of arms and armour. Explore the museum's five floors of galleries with over 4,500 objects on display. There are daily demonstrations from the Live Interpretation Team to show how historic armour and weapons used to be used. Highlights include Henry VIII's foot combat armour made in 1520 for the grand tournament known as the Field of the Cloth of Gold; the largest animal armour in the world - elephant armour and tusk swords from the Indian sub-continent of the late-16th Century; one of the most iconic sci-fi weapons of all time - the 'pulse rifle' from the classic 1986 Aliens film. Time at leisure in the compact and walkable city centre to grab a bite to eat or perhaps a spot of shopping - there are over 120 well known brands and names in the Trinity Centre with its iconic glass roof. Leeds City Museum (entry FOC) may be of interest where you can discover you'll find Nesyamun, the 3,000-year-old mummy, centuries-old fossils and extinct animal bones!

Day 4 - With fond memories of your weekend head back to interchange with an interesting stop on the way
