setting on the shores of Carlingford Lough, the Mourne Mountains in the distance. Explore the narrow lanes and maybe try the famous local oysters. Hop on the Carlingford Ferry for the scenic sail to Greencastle back in Northern Ireland. St Patrick’s Centre & Lunch in Downpatrick
The St Patrick Centre is the world’s only permanent exhibition about Ireland’s Patron Saint. The history of Ireland starts here and an amazing multimedia exhibition details his life. A soup, sandwich and Irish ‘barmbrack’ lunch will be served at the atmospheric Denvir’s Restaurant in the heart of historic Downpatrick
DAY 6 – Dublin – Off to Dublin with a brief orientation before sailing to Holyhead. A meal on board is recommended due to the late arrival for your overnight stay at the excellent 4* Celtic Royal Hotel, Caernarfon. BB
