Snowdon Mountain Railway & Scenic Drive Britain’s only rack and pinion railway travels 4.7 miles to the summit of Snowdon (may operate by diesel or steam). Scenic drive through the National Park to Betsw-y-Coed with its distinctly Alpine feel Anglesey & Puffin Island Cruise Cross the Menai Straits to Anglesey and join a 80-minute cruise to Puffin Island, a bird and wildlife sanctuary and home to cormorants, shags and Atlantic grey seals. Puffins may be spotted during breeding season (May – July)
