DAY 1 Head to Wells via the National Trust village of Lacock. Check into your central hotel for 3 nights with welcome Bucks Fizz. DBB
DAY 2 – 3 At leisure in Wells with one included excursion and a free day in Wells (Market Day on Sat)

Glastonbury & Shepton Mallet Prison Off to Glastonbury, on the edge of the Somerset Levels where the mystical Tor rises up. Entrance is included to the peaceful ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, the possible burial place of legendary King Arthur. Off to Shepton Mallett Prison which opened in 1625 and closed in 2013. As the prison gates clang shut behind you, join a 90-minute guided tour which shines a fascinating light on what life was like for prisoners, officers and visitors (some steps)

View the Magna Carta monument as well as the JFK Memorial before boarding a riverboat to cruise upstream through Old Windsor, Datchet and the grounds of Windsor Castle. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure when you may like to visit the famous Castle (entrance not included)
Syon Park & Richmond One of the most beautiful country estates in England – and the last privately owned one in London – Syon Park is the spectacular London home of the Duke of Northumberland.
Visit the house, the stunning Great Conservatory and the Capability Brown parkland. Stop in historic Richmond for a meander along the Thames
