ITINERARY
DAY 1 Head to Dover to cross to France. Travel on to your overnight stop. BB
DAY 2 Onto Austria via the spectacular Rhine Falls to Feldkich for your 5-night stay. DBB (selected local drinks included with dinner) DAY 3 – 6 At leisure in Feldkirch with three included rail excursions and a day to explore Feldkirch with local transfers, an included walking tour and entrance to Schattenburg Castle

Bernina Express and St Moritz with
local guide Board the Bernina Express
in Tiefencastel and capture photogenic views of the Alps, valleys, lakes and waterfalls along the way. Travel through tunnels, over bridges, through wildly romantic gorges, up to the eternal ice of the glaciers and back down to the palm trees in the Italian town of Tirano (31⁄2 hours). Your coach awaits to take you on to the world-famous resort of St Moritz Arosa Express Rail Journey Off to Chur, the oldest city in Switzerland, to board the Rhaetian Railway. The journey gets off to a leisurely start but the sedate trundle of the train changes as you climb up into the mountains (1,000 metres in just 26 kilometres) through magnificent scenery to the ski resort of Arosa (about 1800m above sea level)
Glacier-Express Train with local guide Drive past Lake Walen to Lake Lucerne,
on via Altdorf, the home of William Tell, to Andermatt to board the ‘King of all Panoramic Trains’, the original Glacier- Express. This incredible journey (approx. 21⁄2 hours) takes you over spectacular bridges, through tunnels and reaches 2,033m above sea level at its highest point at the Oberalp Pass. Return from Chur by coach to Feldkirch
NB Should Glacier Express tickets be unavailable, substitute tickets may be booked on the excellent Regional Express train which follows the same route
DAY 7 Farewell to Austria as you head through Germany to the final overnight stop in Luxembourg. BB
DAY 8 Back to France for the return to England
