SUNDAY: A morning departure, we head northwards to the North West of England stopping for lunch and refreshments en route to our overnight hotel in the Preston area.
MONDAY: We travel through some of the best scenery that the North West can offer, through the Ribble Valley and the Forest of Bowland, en route to Heysham for our ferry crossing to the Isle of Man and our resort hotel in Douglas.
TUESDAY - THURSDAY: At leisure in Douglas with TWO INCLUDED excursions.
Experience the slower pace of life of this Victorian haven, with the wild scenery, wonderful secluded coves and much more. Although only a short distance from the British mainland, the island’s unique character truly sets it a world apart.
Manx Explorer: See the beauty and surprising variety of the Manx landscape whilst we travel through some of the island’s main towns and villages including Laxey, with its famous wheel and woollen mill. You will also have the opportunity to take an optional Mountain Railway trip to the summit of Snaefell with its view of the five kingdoms. We then continue to Ramsey where you might decide to visit Grove House or remain in the town for sightseeing, before returning to Douglas via the Mountain Road.
Castletown, Cregneash & Calf of Man: Our excursion today takes us to the south of the island where we visit Castletown, Cregneash and Calf of Man the most Southern point on the Island.
FRIDAY: After a day at leisure on the island we depart the Isle of Man onboard the evening ferry to arrive in Heysham late evening. We then go directly to our hotel in the Lancaster area for our last night.
(Please Note: Due to a late arrival at the hotel there is no evening meal included tonight).
SATURDAY: After breakfast, we continue homewards returning you to your home towns around early evening.
