Day 1 - After joining your holiday coach, travel north with suitable stops for lunch and refreshments. Arrive at your overnight hotel in good time to freshen up for your evening meal. Dinner, bed & breakfast at the Cairndale Hotel, Dumfries.
Day 2 - Early departure this morning to drive to Cairnryan for the crossing to Belfast arriving early afternoon. Drive across Northern Ireland to arrive this afternoon to check in for your 4-night stay at the White Horse Hotel near Derry. Dinner, bed & breakfast.
Day 3 - 5 - At leisure in Derry (Londonderry) with two included excursions.

There is a public bus which stops outside the hotel to take you into the city of Derry (Londonderry) on your free day. You are sure to want to stroll around the 17th century city walls that encircle the city - Doire, Derry, Londonderry has 1,500 years of history and culture enclosed within Ireland's only completely walled city. There is so much history to absorb here, from the Siege of Derry to the Battle of the Bogside and Bloody Sunday.
County Donegal & Glenveagh National Park
A day to explore the wonderfully scenic county of Donegal across the border. Drive via the market town of Letterkenny to the remote and hauntingly beautiful wilderness of Glenveagh National Park, Ireland's second largest national park. Here you will find rugged mountains, pristine lakes and enchanted native oak woodland in the heart of the Derryveagh Mountains. At the centre of the park is the Visitor Centre on the edge of Lough Veagh.
County Antrim, Giant's Causeway & Bushmills
Head into County Antrim and up to the spectacular coast with a stop at the Old Bushmills Distillery, the oldest working distillery in Ireland, where you will see how this famous Irish whiskey is crafted. The highlight of the day is a visit to the mighty Giant's Causeway, created by volcanic activity. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Giant's Causeway is a magnificent, mysterious geological formation on the North East coast of Co Antrim steeped in myth and legend. A regular shuttle bus escorts visitors from the visitor centre down to the shore (approx. £2 return - not included).
Day 6 - Heading east today after breakfast towards Belfast and onto to the lovely scenery of Strangford Lough, a large sea loch in County Down. A visit to the celebrated house and gardens of Mount Stewart on the eastern shores of the lough is included. Continue to the Ulster Folk Park & Transport Museum where you will step back in time in and uncover a way of life from 100 years ago. Discover cottages, farms, schools and shops set in beautiful parkland of the Folk Museum with costumed visitor guides demonstrating traditional crafts. Two fascinating included attractions today, perfect for nostalgia lovers. Overnight in the Belfast or Antrim area with dinner, bed & breakfast.
Day 7 - Following a final full Irish breakfast, head into Belfast for a mid-morning crossing back to Cairnryan. Continue to your overnight hotel in the Lake District region. Dinner, bed & breakfast.
Day 8 - After breakfast, return homewards, arriving back at your local joining points early to mid-evening.
