Day 1 - After joining your holiday coach, drive northwards with suitable stops for lunch and refreshments. Arrive at your hotel in Drymen early evening, ready for your first evening meal together. Dinner, bed and breakfast.
DAYS 2 - 4: At leisure in Winnock Hotel, Drymen with three Included excursions. Two evenings' live entertainment in the hotel.
Maid of the Forth & Inchcolm Island
Head east to South Queensferry just outside Edinburgh to board the Maid of the Forth, a modern passenger vessel specifically designed to operate to Inchcolm Island at all states of the tide. The cruise takes you underneath the spectacular Forth Rail Bridge where you will get a unique close up of this famous piece of Victorian engineering. You have approx. 1½ hours to explore the tiny but beautiful island, the 'Iona of the East' with its historic 12th century abbey and an abundance of wildlife from nosey grey seals to comical little puffins.
Scotland in Miniature - Arran
A full day to the wonderful Isle of Arran with a CalMac ferry cruise across the Firth of Clyde from Ardrossan to Brodick, the island's capital. Often described as 'Scotland in Miniature', Arran has a blend of Highland and Island scenery with granite peaks and deep glens to the north of the island, contrasting with its heather-clad moorlands to the south. Explore the best of the island by coach before spending some time in Brodick with an included visit to the castle, the quintessential Victorian 'Highland' estate.
Loch Lomond - The Queen of Scottish Lochs
Head to Balloch for a two hour cruise discovering the legends and secrets of the islands of Loch Lomond. The cruise takes us past Cameron House Hotel and the world renowned Loch Lomond Golf Course, continuing onwards through the 'Narrows' with views of magnificent Ben Lomond and onto the historic conservation village of Luss, before returning to Balloch.
Day 5 - After breakfast, return homewards, arriving back at your local joining points early to mid-evening.
