Day 1 - After joining your holiday coach, travel to Dover for the short sea crossing to Calais and onto central Paris to embark the MS Botticelli early evening.
After settling into your cabin, enjoy a welcome drinks reception with your fellow cruisers. Water levels permitting, cruise along the Seine passing under the bridges of enchanting Paris by night – one of the highlights of the tour. Full board.
Day 2 – A morning of relaxed cruising today before arriving after lunch at Les Andelys on one of the loveliest bends of the Seine and famous for the ruined Anglo-Norman fortress, Chateau Gaillard. Exclusively for Crusader Holidays passengers, you will visit the picturesque village of Giverny, a treat for art lovers and gardens alike, the home of French impressionist painter, Claude Monet for over 40 years.
There will be time to explore the exuberant gardens which were the inspiration of his famous water lily series and well as take a look around his house. Transfer to Rouen late afternoon to re-board the MS Botticelli for dinner. Full board.
Day 3 – Disembark today in medieval Honfleur, the picturesque old port located on the Seine estuary. Your awaiting coach will take you along the Cote Fleurie coastal road to fashionable Deauville, the epitome of elegance and sophistication, with its designer boutiques, fine sandy beaches and beautifully tended public gardens.
Continue back via unpretentious Trouville with its laid-back seaside atmosphere and then return to lovely Honfleur to enjoy free time in the delightful Vieux Bassin with its narrow houses and lively café scene. Full board
Day 4 – Cruise back along the Seine to Rouen, a gem of a city with its lovingly restored medieval quarter, imposing Gothic cathedral and narrow streets of timber framed houses. A local English speaking guide awaits to take you on a walking tour of the Old Town including the ‘Place du Vieux Marche’ where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake. Back on board to get dressed up for this evening’s Full board with Gala dinner.
Day 5 – Early morning cruise back to Paris for disembarkation after breakfast and head back to Calais for the crossing back to the UK. Onto interchange and then the onward journeys to your home towns mid-evening.
