Day 1 - From your chosen joining point your feeder vehicle will take you to the designated interchange point where your holiday begins. After joining your holiday coach, relax as you head over the border into Wales.
To Wales today with comfort stops en route. 3 nights in Llangollen or Mold with dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 2 - Return train ride on the Llangollen Heritage Railway which follows the River Dee for its entire length. (Depending on date the trains may be steam hauled or with diesel locomotive).
Day 3 - Magnificent Bala Lake, otherwise known as Llyn Tegid. Glacial in origin and gouged up to 150 ft. deep, it is 4 miles long and steeped in legend (supposedly home to a monster called 'Teggie'). Why not take a ride on the scenic narrow gauge steam engine, the Bala Lake Railway, one of The Great Little Trains of Wales which runs regularly along the southern shore.
Day 4 - Check out and head south to Llandrindod Wells with an included visit en-route visit to Powis Castle, a wonderful sandstone castle overlooking the Severn Valley. The museum contains treasures that Clive of India brought back from his travels. 3 nights at the Metropole Hotel with dinner, bed and breakfast.
Day 5 - To one of Wales' best seaside towns, Aberaeron, full of Georgian character. You can enjoy a stroll around the harbour along Quay Parade or perhaps take a boat trip to explore Cardigan Bay's marine ecology and Heritage Coast.
Day 6 - After a hearty Welsh breakfast, travel to The Royal Mint Experience to follow the journey of a coin, from blank to bank. Meet the experts and have the option to strike your very own coin as a memento of your visit. A brief look at Cardiff before returning to your hotel.
Day 7 - Homeward today with lots of fond memories.
