This tour to the South West is Ireland's most popular tour, with the Ring of Kerry the first stop for most visitors. Just when you think you have seen everything, every twist and turn brings something even more beautiful. A passport or photographic ID is recommended.

All the comfortable rooms have en-suite facilities, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a lift to all floors.

Day 1 - From your chosen joining point your feeder vehicle will take you to your designated interchange point where your holiday begins. After joining your luxury coach, journey westwards to Wales with ample stops for refreshments before arriving at your overnight hotel, usually staying at the 3 star Kinmel Hotel, Abergele (subject to change) where an evening meal is included. Dinner and room only. Breakfast the next day on the ferry.

Day 2 - An early start to Holyhead for the morning crossing to Dublin with breakfast included. Arrive in Ireland around midday and continue through the Irish countryside to your main holiday hotel in Castleisland, arriving late afternoon. Dinner, bed and breakfast.

Day 3 - 5 At leisure in Castleisland with three included excursions. Dinner, bed and breakfast.

The Ring of Kerry
The 100 mile circuit of the Iveragh peninsula is on the itinerary of every self-respecting fan of Ireland for a very good reason. The road winds past pristine beaches, medieval ruins, dramatic mountains and loughs (lakes) with ever-changing views of the island-dotted Atlantic. Follow the narrow coastal road to Killorglin, home of the famous Puck Fair with a stop at the Kerry Bog Village, which depicts the tough existence of Irish life in a typical 19th Century peat-cutting settlement (entrance included). Continue through Glenbeigh, Rossbeigh and Kells, with their beautiful golden beaches, to Cahersiveen. Then it's along the shores of Ballinskelligs Bay to Waterville and Caherdaniel. At Sneem, head inland onto the Moll's Gap, a dramatic cutting between the peat bog and the mountains. The winding road passes Ladies View and then into Killarney National Park.

Dingle Peninsula
Visit the remote Dingle Peninsula, made famous in the film 'Ryan's Daughter', offering some of the wildest natural scenic beauty in Ireland. Travel over the mountains to Castlemaine, before continuing via Inch to the cosmopolitan fishing village of Dingle. Enjoy a circular tour around the most westerly tip of the peninsula (Europe's westernmost point) with a view of the dramatic Blasket Islands. Back to Gaelic-speaking Dingle before continuing to Tralee for a visit to the Kerry County Museum (entrance included).

At Leisure in Killarney
Transfer the short distance to the town of Killarney for a day to explore. A visit to Muckross House and Gardens is not to be missed. Alternatively, the most popular way to learn about the town and its lakes is to take an optional jaunting car ride through the wonderful Killarney National Park and along the edge of Loch Leane to Ross Castle. From here, hop aboard the 'Lily of Killarney' for an optional cruise across the lake. Full details from your driver.

Day 6 - Following breakfast depart for Dublin and the mid-afternoon sailing back to Holyhead. It is recommended to have a meal on board as it will be a mid-evening arrival at the overnight hotel, 3* Beaufort Park in Mold. Bed and breakfast.

Day 7 - After a leisurely breakfast retrace your steps with ample stops for refreshments. Continue back to your local joining points arriving back mid/late evening.
