Tenby offers a holiday environment which is hard to equal. Here you can wander through a cliff-top walled town in which a thousand years of history interact. Explore the original Welsh hill fortress or the fragments of castle once part of a Norman garrison town. In addition to its historic attractions the town boasts a picture-book harbour, home to many pleasure boats, four fine sandy beaches and many delightful gardens. Closeby is the magnificent scenery of the Pembrokeshire coastline, Britain’s only coastal National Park, a superb stretch of sea cliffs, beaches, headlands and coves.

From the grounds and cliff top terraces of the Park Hotel you can enjoy breathtaking views overlooking Tenby’s North Bay. All 42 en suite bedrooms feature TV, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. Other amenities include a lift (however there are steps throughout the hotel), restaurant, heated swimming pool (open May to Oct inclusive) and a garden bar with access to the grounds.

 

Cliffe-Norton Hotel, Tenby – 18 Apr, 20 Jul & 21 Sep


The Cliffe Norton is a Grade II early 19th Century listed building which enjoys panoramic views across the bay, including Goskar Rock, North Beach and Tenby’s fishing harbour. This elegant hotel also offers entertainment every night of your stay and tea/coffee after dinner. A lift is available and all 52 bedrooms are en suite with a TV and tea/coffee making facilities

DAY 1: Our feeder vehicle will take you to our designated interchange point where your holiday begins. A morning departure, stopping for lunch and refreshments on our way to our resort hotel.

DAYS 2 - 3 (4 DAY WEEKENDS): At leisure in Tenby with one included excursions.

DAYS 2 - 6 (7 DAY HOLIDAYS): At leisure in Tenby with two included excursions.

Tenby is a delightful little seaside resort with an attractive harbour and fantastic beaches stretching in all directions. You may wander the narrow cobbled streets of Tenby and stroll along the harbour. This is a serene and attractive destination that is sure to charm you.

 

INCLUDED EXCURSIONS

 

Gower Peninsula, Rhossili & Mumbles (All Holidays)
A visit to the Gower Peninsula, often called the prettiest part of South Wales. Stops will be made at the village of Rhossili at the very end of the Peninsula and in Mumbles, with magnificent views over the Bristol Channel.

 

Haverfordwest, Solva, St David’s & Llys Y Fran Reservoir (7 Day Holidays)
Our excursion today takes via Haverfordwest and the coastal road known as ‘Seventeen Hills in Sixteen Miles’, passing the quaint village of Solva. We then continue to St David’s, Britain’s smallest cathedral city, although little more than a sleepy village, it is well worth a visit. Our final visit today is to to Llys Y Fran Reservoir. The park covers 350 acres and includes a 212 acre reservoir. The land surrounding the reservoir consists of grasslands and woodland, predominantly sessile oak.

 

OPTIONAL EXCURSION

 

Pembroke Coast & Saundersfoot (5 & 7 Days Only)
A full day scenic tour of the South Pembroke coast with stops at Laugharne and the charming resort of Saundersfoot. Saundersfoot is a small seaside resort designated as a conservation area by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in 1995.

 

LAST DAY: After breakfast we travel homewards.
