FRIDAY: After joining your holiday coach, we make our way to mid Wales with suitable stops for lunch and refreshments. We arrive at our resort hotel in Llanberis late afternoon, in good time to freshen up for our first evening meal together.
SATURDAY - SUNDAY: At leisure in Llanberis with ONE INCLUDED excursion.
On your free day, why not take a ride up the Snowdon Mountain Railway? Beginning at Llanberis Station, which is just yards from the hotel, at the foot of the highest mountain in England and Wales, this is the ‘pièce de résistance’ of Welsh train journeys, with ample time to see the wonders of Snowdonia.
Blaenau Ffestiniog, Porthmadog and Beddgelert:
Today we offer you the chance to view more of this lovely countryside with a visit to the Llechwedd Slate Mines at Blaenau Ffestiniog (admission not included). Here you will have the chance to travel into the mine and see how the slate is brought to the surface and split into roof slates. We leave this area and make our way to Porthmadog, the end of the line for one of the finest Welsh railways that runs from the Slate mines. This is the port from where, in years gone by, slate was exported to different parts of the world. Our return journey takes us via the Aberglaslyn Pass to Beddgelert en-route to our hotel.
MONDAY: After breakfast, we return homewards, arriving back at your local joining points early to mid evening.
