We stay 2, 3 or 4 nights at the family run Grand Hôtel de Vianden which is centrally located. The hotel facilities include bar, restaurant, lounge & lift. All bedrooms are en suite and have TV. |

Your Itinerary
Day 1 Departure
A morning departure to Dover and our ferry crossing to Calais. We then continue through France and Belgium and into Luxembourg to our resort hotel.

At leisure in Vianden with one included excursion.
On 4 day holidays you will have one additional optional excursion and on 5 day holidays you will have two additional optional excursions.
Embedded in the splendid landscape of the Ardennes, Vianden has tourist tradition for more than a hundred years. Like the famous French Poet Victor Hugo, thousands of visitors are charmed each year by the narrow and paved lanes, the gothic churches, the ramparts and fortified towers of the small medieval town, dominated by the magnificent, restored castle. Meanwhile, well-maintained tracks, offering spectacular panoramic views, invite the passionate walkers to meet the fauna and flora in the wide forests and narrow valleys. |

| A full day included excursion to Luxembourg City where we have an optional guided city tour.
Luxembourg boasts a large array of historical and cultural sights that are worth seeing, lots of interesting and picturesque spots you can discover countless legends and anecdotes worth relating. In this sense and to make it easer to discover the former “Gibraltar of the North”. |

Optional Excursion
Full Day (4&5 day holidays only) Remich & Echterna
| A full day optional excursion first travelling along the Moselle to Remich which lies on the left bank of the Moselle river, which forms part of the border between Luxembourg and Germany, with free time for lunch and sightseeing. This afternoon we travel to ‘Little Switzerland’, visiting the pretty town of Echternach, a historic gem renowned for its medieval atmosphere.

Half Day (5 day holidays only) Vianden walking
| An optional guided walking tour of Vianden to get your bearings; this includes entrance and a tour of the Castle. This afternoon we have free time at leisure before returning back to the hotel.
Last Day Travel home
We depart for Calais and our ferry crossing to Dover, arriving home during the evening. |
